A poke in my opinion is a lazy persons way of trying to start an online chat. It's kind of like when you want someone's attention in the real world you might go 'psst' except online you're basically saying 'hey look at me'.
If you're not an aggressive guy why don't you take the piss out of her (respectably of course). Say somthing like 'you must be new to facebook cos you only know how to use the poke function' or something like that. |
