Your will creates your future.
This is the present shape of mine. The Cloud Manifesto I will consider embarrassment and shame irrelevant. I will let authenticity, integrity and commitment to be my antidote to embarrassment. I will judge myself by how well and how truly I am presenting my intentions to the world, and let the outcomes take care of themselves. I will have no fear of living authentically, only fear of any excuse for failing to live. I will have no hostility toward "feminine" or "masculine" traits or energies, regardless of what gender I find them in. I will be kind, compassionate, and polite without sacrificing my integrity just to make others comfortable. I will understand how to serve myself by voluntarily serving the needs and desires of others. I will readily and sincerely apologize when my actions have unintended consequences. I will make no apology for my intentions. This necessarily requires never intending to do harm. I will seek out the best people, and the best IN people, because I want the most exciting part of my stories to be the people who are in them. And I will tell my stories in a way that reflects that value. I will delight in other people, ask to hear their own best stories, and do my best to see their true selves. I will explore what makes me curious, luxuriate in what makes me happy, and undress what makes me desirous. I will awaken in other people the potential to be an awakener of other people. I will understand that inconsistency is not the same as lack of integrity. Consistency is the surest path to an uninteresting life. Try everything once. I will have great stories to tell at the end of life. And I will have great stories to tell NOW, because life may end at any moment. I will need nothing but what I already have. I will know, as clearly as possible, what I want. And I will want those things that I want with reckless abandon. I will stand in this moment, the front line in the battle I have fought to win my life thus far, and charge forward bravely. I will take off the mask of Janus, who looks at the past and the future, and live NOW. I will take the mufflers off of my life and live LOUD. I will live. I will live. I will live.

No worries...the commitment is definitely there. This post grew out of my experiences in the first month of Ars Amorata.
It's not just a piece of writing, it's a record of the beliefs formed by the collision between my character and the challenges the program offers. And with more collisions to come, I am sure it will evolve as time goes on.

This was really inspirering to me, i was dealing with thoughts about "inconsistency equals not having intergrity" and this really helped me stear back my thoughts, to were they belong. Integrity meaning doing what i love, attracting what i desire and cherrish, in life, and being honest about it!
thank you |

Thanks for sharing this Crazy Cloud. I agree with Dylan that we all should have something like this that we live by.
My only question is this Quote:
Thanks

What I mean is that integrity - being true to myself - is more important than consistency - being true to what I have done before.
Integrity allows room to change, room to grow, room to learn. Consistency takes the past as a map for the future, which stifles growth and preserves the status quo. For me, integrity plus persistence is a stronger formula than consistency. Consistency carries the danger of resting too comfortably in what is familiar. And also the danger of feeling that the inconsistency that comes with change will offend or upset others. Instead, integrity asks "Who am I and where am I going at this moment?" and then persistence moves repeatedly in that direction until the answer changes. It was being consistent that kept me too long in a job I did not love. Integrity and persistence have put me on a path that brings me far more challenge, passion, and joy. A question to think about: are "achieving goals" and "altering my behavior" really the same thing? Isn't one about destinations, and the other one about a journey? Results vs. process? How do those answers relate to consistency vs integrity for you?

Interesting… I thought consistency was part of integrity. Integrity being consistent with your values and actions.
I like the formula of persistence plus integrity. I can see how consistency can be a trap that can prevent change/growth by breeding familiarity and becoming routine without then stopping to question if you’re being true to yourself. The question I have though is how do you know if you’re being ‘true to yourself’? I find it difficult sometimes to even understand what makes my life meaningful and happy. So the question “Who am I and where am I going at this moment?” becomes confusing.

This is an interesting word..i looked it up and found three definitions..
1. adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. 2. the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished: to preserve the integrity of the empire. 3. a sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition: the integrity of a ship's hull. I prefer the second. To preserve the integrity of the empire. Sometimes in life we are not whole and aligned with our truest self, even though we may think we are. Doing a job that we dont love, being in a relationship that strangles our spirit...etc. My moral and ethical principles may not be my own, but something imposed on me from society... When i see this i have to make a change, and that means doing what i belive is right, disregarding what others would call "lack of ethichs and moral" Only then can i have true intergrity: Freedom to move with ease in my own empire...
